The staff at Raven Career Development are all very experienced and experts in their field. I, like 90% of people, thought I could do this on my own but was not yielding any results. So I decided to use the professionals. I originally only planned on using Raven for the application review. I had applications in for all the Legacy carriers for well over a year at this point. Raven's staff paid great attention to detail in the application review process. James and his team are so effective that I received a the Delta assessment in less than 2 weeks after my final application review audit was completed. I then received the United assessment a few weeks after that. I was so impressed with the app review product that I also used them for my interview prep as well. This turned out to be by far the most beneficial thing I could have done. I received tailored one on one time to go through exactly what to expect in the interview. And the 30% of my interview class that were not hired were all very experienced and had impressive backgrounds. One was a test pilot. For anyone on the fence about Raven Career Development, just do it! I, like many, had trouble deciding which company to use but some colleagues recommended Raven so I pulled the trigger. I started with them a few weeks ago on resume services and app review. I thought the resume I did myself was pretty good but the one made with Raven is on a different level. Dale also helped me clean up my application and really make it a lot stronger. There was a lot of content I didn't know I was missing and inconsistencies I didn't catch. Everyone at Raven has been super helpful and have answered lots of random email questions outside of our official sessions. I just started interview prep with Heather last week and even just that one hour I felt made a huge difference in my confidence and ability to speak about my experiences with the recruiters at a recent convention. despite my best attempts to do it right myself, there were still plenty of minor corrections to be made
First and foremost, I had a great experience getting my resume rewritten in an appropriate format for pilot positions, as well as writing my job titles and responsibilities from the Army in a way that makes sense to an outside perspective. We spent the better part of an hour on the phone just discussing what it is I did and I received a fantastic resume soon after. I had used another service in the past, and suffice to say was not impressed, if I was getting it done again! I also had my airline apps profile reviewed and . Well worth a second pair of experienced eyes to look it over. The entire team that I've spoken to or worked with directly has been great to work with, and easy to talk to. Prior to the RTAG convention in San Diego James and the rest of the group that was present shared very helpful tips on how to talk to the recruiters depending on the setting, and more importantly, some of the things not to ask. Finally, the customer-only monthly live video sessions are a wonderful resource to get up to date information, and the private Q\&A afterwards is an opportunity to ask questions in a "safe" space, and also to share success stories

I wish I could give them more than 5 star. I'd like to share my experience with Raven. Seven years ago, I had three check ride failures on my record, so I spent $950 on two different interview prep services to practice explaining my failures. Despite the investment, I faced four unsuccessful interviews and felt frustrated, swearing off spending money on such seemingly useless companies. A few months ago, my friend who had faced a situation similar to mine got hired by Delta, and when I asked about his preparation, he recommended Raven. Initially, I was adamant about not spending another $1000. However, after a conversation with another friend who highlighted the importance of explanation of failures, I decided to give Raven a try. From the first session, I was impressed and found value. I hired James for an hour of one-on-one 121 interview prep. that would only be relevant in a narrow setting. I chose Raven after having a conversation with a jumpseat crew member on one of my flights. The crew member said that he was recommended to use Raven's application and interview services by his friend, and ultimately both had job offers from the carrier I would consider a dream to be a part of. After my trip I booked a one on one assessment call with the found, James, and am very happy I did. At first I thought my airline application was very well organized and presentable. After the advisor inputs on changes both general, and specific for my previous career experiences and accolades to highlight, the changes would undoubtedly make it stand out from before if it was right in front of a recruiter scanning it. Not long after the changes were made to the application and putting it back in the queue, it was maybe several weeks I received an assessment exam followed by an interview opportunity from one legacy carrier, and soon after that the other legacy carrier that I chose to go to Raven to in the first place. I reached back out to the development team, giving timelines and info on airlines I had lined up. Ilene was astoundingly helpful in setting up my interview preparation sessions + mock interview that were flexible to my calendar as I was going through upgrade training at my airline during the preparation steps. My advisor, Yeol, was very thorough and personable which was awesome in order to prepare for a day that your equally nervous as you are excited for! You may believe prior that airlines want you to be somewhat robotic, flawless, and have an absolute perfect career path to their interview room but that is far from the truth. The sessions were actually eye opening on how to approach a panel on your big day, to . Both interview opportunities were WAY more eased because of choosing Raven to go through my application and prepare me through my sessions, and further gave me assurance to present myself to the interviewers in the best way possible.
