Stage 1: Research & Planning

The research and planning stage begins after applying and prior to interviewing for a specific aviation position. We typically begin Stage 1 just prior to a telephone, in-person, or video conference interview. We have connections within the human resources industry (HR) and can easily assign an expected salary to the position. 

One of the most important factors we take into consideration is your expected level of work-life balance. Do you need guaranteed time off to support your family? What is your expectation in terms of scheduling? What impact does a 401K or retirement contributions play into the overall offer package?

Stage 2: Compensation Package Review

We typically begin Stage 1 just prior to a telephone, in-person, or video conference interview. We evaluate your expectation of work/life balance and assign an expected salary to the position.

Stage 3: Negotiation

If we identify areas where negotiation may be possible, we will work closely with you to develop a strategy to clearly identify fair compensation requests, open conversation while avoiding defensiveness, and format requests in a respectful manner.

Stage 4: Offer Acceptance

Once negotiation is complete, we conduct a final review with you addressing any questions or concerns you may have. The hard work is done and it is time to accept the offer!  Congratulations on your new career!
