United Pilots Restart Negotiations For New Contract

• United Airlines Holdings Inc and its pilot union are back at the negotiating table for a new contract, after reaching a tentative agreement last month, CNBC reported on Wednesday.

• The United branch of the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) said the current agreement "fell short" of some pilots' expectations, according to the report.

• United Airlines and ALPA did not immediately respond to a Reuters' request for comment.

• The tentative deal approved last month was set to give pilots a more than 14% pay raise in the next 18 months when calculated from the beginning of the year.

Delta Orders 100 Max-10's

KEY POINTS:

• Delta Air Line has booked an order for 100 Boeing 737-10 MAX aircraft with options for 30 additional planes, along with an agreement to re-configure its 29 Boeing 737-900(ER) fleet.

• The 100 planes will be based throughout all of Detla’s hubs and will “perfectly fit the airline’s current pilot and hub structure”

• The plans will begin joining the fleet in 2025.

• DL also hired Boeing Global Services to completely regesign the inside of 29 of its Next Generation Boeing 737-900ER aircraft.
